For the walkers and cyclists, the area offers an abundance of fabulous country walks and cycle tracks.
Reynard Crag Park is set on the famous Nidderdale way, which is a 53 mile footpath.
From Ripley it takes you to Brimham Rocks, Pateley Bridge, Gouthwaite Reservoir, Scar House Reservoir, Middlesmoor, Ramsgill, Dacre Banks, Birstwith, Hampsthwaite, finally the path returns to Ripley.
